Plug n Play: Saturday 3rd September

The first Plug n Play @ Bluprint Nightclub went off well. Unfortunately, a couple of Perth's top VJs ended up having to cancel at the last minute due to other gigs and a wedding anniversary (good idea not to miss that). Hopefully next time we can have it on a quiet weeknight, since we're all so swamped already every weekend.

Martin, Alan and Brendan from Pixel Juice came along, showed some of the stuff they used at Big Day Out, a gig they've done in Perth for a few years now.

It was great to see the similarities and also the differences between the Pixel Juice style and our own.

We played all local electronica, including Cordata, Tomas Ford's Cabaret of Death, the Resonance, Roly Skender, Audio Cephlon, the Plastik Scene (who coincidentally were playing live downstairs at the same time!), Leonardo's Robot, & Jaek.

It was followed by the excellent DJ-electronica night "Spice of Life" brought to you by the promoter of Aesoteric.

Bluprint Nightclub is located at 5 Aberdeen St, East Perth (right near Lord St).
